28 Drawings Later is an annual challenge that originated on Facebook to create a drawing each day in February and post online. I chose the focus on buildings and monuments around London by Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869-1944).

I planned to keep the sketches quick and rough in a Moleskine notebook. I would use them as a basis for designs to rout on woodblocks using my new Roland iModela CNC routing machine. I would then use these woodblocks to print with blue ink on card.

After seven days I fell ill and delayed the eight sketch until the 15th February and then continued, but without the woodblock prints, which were time-consuming to do each evening.
