I have been recording my movement through London and beyond since 2012. First using (the now defunct) OpenPaths, then (the now defunct) Moves before settling on Arc-App, all on iOS. These maps are prepared in QGIS. Older maps are on Flickr.
2023 was a quiet year for travelling with only trips outside of London to Norfolk, Buxton, and Southend (twice in one week) and nothing outside the UK. Not much cycling but a reasonable amount of walking.
Since 2021 I have been playing Wandrer.Earth with a particular focus on completing all the roads and paths in the London Borough of Haringey. In May I got to the 99% completion threshold for combined cycling and foot, but a map update in December put me back down to 98% so I have been ticking off remaining fragments. I currently have 6.2km still to complete (shown in red below), albeit some are erroneous with corrections required in the the underlying OpenStreetMap data.
